Job Description Role: Product Owner Climate Team Company: Jaguar Land Rover Location - Gaydon (On site) Role Overview We are seeking a motivated and disciplined Product Owner to join the Climate Team at Jaguar Land Rover. The role requires a strong understanding of vehicle thermal systems (including PT or thermal refrigeration) and the ability to articulate complex problems into clear, actionable requirements. The successful candidate will act as the bridge between engineering teams and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with program timing and delivery expectations. Key Responsibilities Own and manage the product backlog for the Climate Team, ensuring clarity, prioritization, and alignment with program goals. Translate technical challenges in vehicle thermal systems into well-defined requirements and deliverables. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand program timing and communicate the impact of changes on delivery. Ensure effective cross-functional communication between engineering, program management, and service teams. Drive disciplined task ownership and follow-through, ensuring timely delivery of commitments. Support decision-making by providing clear problem articulation and solution trade-offs. Contribute to continuous improvement in processes and team collaboration. Key Skills & Experience Strong understanding of vehicle thermal systems, with knowledge of PT or thermal refrigeration considered essential. Ability to articulate problems clearly and translate them into actionable tasks. Experience in stakeholder communication, with the ability to balance technical detail and program-level impact. Demonstrated discipline in task ownership and delivery accountability. Strong interpersonal skills with a motivated, assertive, and collaborative team approach. Familiarity with Agile principles is beneficial, but deep Agile expertise is not required. Preferred Qualifications Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field. Experience in vehicle climate control systems or thermal management. Previous experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Systems Engineer in the automotive sector.
