We are seeking a team member to provide high quality care and education and develop an outstanding provision at one of the Huish Nurseries, based at Nerrols, North Town, Lyngford Park or North Curry Primary School. This post presents an exciting and unique opportunity for the successful candidate(s) to play a vital role in contributing to successful and inspiring Nursery provisions at one of our sites, which provide excellent opportunities for children aged 2-4. You will need to be passionate about early years, can work as part of a team, be able to use your initiative, self-driven and effectively use your time in the setting to promote outcomes for all children.

* Closing date: Monday 8th October 2025 at 5:00pm
* Interviews: TBC
* Hours: 37 hours per week (or part-time 20 hours per week) - to cover shifts across the week (shift are either 08:00 - 18:00, 08:00-13:00 or 13:00-18:00).
* Location: This will be based in one location (Nerrols, North Town, Lyngford Park or North Curry Primary School) which can be confirmed prior to interview.
* Contract term: Fixed term maternity cover
* Salary: Grade 16 Spine Point 4 (£25,185 FTE). Following the successful completion of a 6 month probationary period, the salary will increase to Grade 14 Spine Point 6 (£25,989 FTE).

* Plan and deliver engaging activities that support children's developmental milestones.
* Observe, assess, and record children's progress to ensure they are reaching their full potential.
* Promote positive behaviour and a supportive learning environment.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating setting, adhering to health and safety policies.
* Follow all safeguarding policies and procedures of the nursery
* Work collaboratively and enthusiastically with a team to ensure high standards of care and education.
* Communicate effectively with parents/carers, keeping them informed about their child's progress.
