Role Description
This is a full‑time, on‑site role for a CNC Turner / Programmer located in Leicester. The role involves programming, setting, and operating CNC Turning machines to produce high‑quality precision‑engineered components. Responsibilities include reading and interpreting technical drawings, maintaining machinery, ensuring quality standards, and adhering to safety protocols. The candidate will work closely with a team of engineers to meet production deadlines and deliver excellent customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in CNC programming, setting, and operating turning machines.
* Ideally apprentice trained with a minimum of 5 years experience.
* Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings and specifications.
* Experience with quality control, precision measurement tools, and ensuring adherence to quality standards.
* Knowledge of maintaining machinery and adherence to safety protocols.
* Strong teamwork, problem‑solving abilities, and attention to detail.
* Formal engineering qualification or apprenticeship in machining is desirable but not essential.
* Experience in precision engineering within industries such as automotive, aerospace, or related fields is a plus.
