Are you highly organised, detail-driven, and eager to start a career in bidding? We’re looking for a Bid Assistant to join our growing team and play a key role in supporting high‑quality, compliant, and compelling bid submissions that help drive business growth.

This role is perfect for someone with a keen interest in writing, administration, or project coordination who is excited to learn and develop within a supportive, fast‑paced environment. As a Bid Assistant, you will work closely with the Bid Coordinator and wider team to ensure our bid processes run smoothly and efficiently.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Supporting the management and upkeep of content and information libraries for future submissions.
2. Maintaining 100% accuracy of standard information held in SharePoint and bid management systems.
3. Completing standard bid documentation, including company information.
4. Contributing to pre-selection and pre‑market engagement questionnaires.
5. Assisting with layout and design of proposals and presentation materials, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
6. Maintaining full compliance across bid and supplier portals.
7. Supporting the Bid Coordinator in managing company accreditations.
8. Helping maintain internal reporting tools such as bid trackers.
9. Assisting with managing the shared Bid Mailbox and actioning incoming requests.
10. Identifying opportunities to improve bid processes and implement best practices.
11. Supporting internal projects and providing ad-hoc assistance across the Bid Team.
12. Building positive relationships with internal stakeholders to support high‑quality oning the Bid Team’s role across the company.

Experience and Skills required:

13. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
14. Entry level position with a keen interest in writing and the bidding process
15. A team player and effective communicator, able to establish and maintain professional relationships
16. Able to work on own initiative and deliver work to an exceedingly high standard
17. Able to multi-task and work to tight deadlines
18. Strong organisational and project coordination skills
19. Flexible, results-oriented and keen to take responsibility
20. Diligence and attention to detail
