Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Band 4 Nursery Nurse to join the Child Development teams based across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire in settings including home, nursery, school and child development clinics.
You will work alongside community paediatricians and community therapists, supporting the Band 5 nursery nurse to undertake the NHS Grampian Child Development Assessment schedule (birth to five years) and/or Schedule of growth skills and observation.
Responsibilities
* Support the Band 5 Community Nursery Nurse in delivering the Child Development Assessment schedule and related growth and observation activities.
* Work with pre-school children in home and community settings, ideally with experience in a health context.
* Communicate effectively within a team and as a lone worker, providing high-quality care and support in line with NHS Grampian values.
Qualifications and Experience
* Early years practitioner with experience working with pre-school children in home and community settings.
* Experience in a health context is preferred.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team and independently.
