We are looking to recruit a dynamic and well‑motivated Health Care Support Worker (HCSW) with good communication and IT skills, a passion for working with people and an interest in food and nutrition.
Responsibilities
* Support dietitians in delivering care to adults in a variety of settings, including homes, care homes, residential care and out‑patient clinics.
* Assist in the roll‑out of a new model of dietetic prescribing for oral nutritional supplements (ONS).
* Conduct clinical administration duties using computers, Excel and Word and navigate digital platforms such as Near Me.
* Provide training, nutrition, rehabilitation and well‑being education to staff and other professionals where appropriate.
* Participate in undergraduate student training (10–12 per year) and help students achieve their learning outcomes.
* Deliver services flexibly, including weekends and extended hours, to meet the needs of service users.
Qualifications
* Excellent IT skills, confident in Excel, Word and digital platforms such as Near Me.
* Strong communication skills.
* Car owner and hold a full UK driving licence.
