Position: MHE Trainer
Overview: The Material Handling Equipment (MHE) Trainer delivers training to operators of MHE, ensuring safety and compliance. Responsibilities include developing, implementing, and assessing training programs to improve skills and promote safe operation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Training Development and Delivery: Design and deliver training for various MHE types, ensuring materials meet current standards.
* Assessment and Certification: Conduct evaluations, issue certifications, and maintain training records.
* Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure training complies with UK regulations, promote safety culture, and update programs as regulations change.
* Continuous Improvement: Evaluate and improve training effectiveness based on feedback and latest industry developments.
* Operational Support: Assist in developing safe procedures, support operators, and conduct refresher training.
* Reporting and Documentation: Prepare reports and maintain accurate training records.
Qualifications:
* Certified MHE trainer with recognized credentials (e.g., RTITB, ITSSAR, AITT preferred).
* Extensive experience with MHE.
* Knowledge of UK health and safety regulations.
* Experience in designing and delivering training.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Ability to assess performance objectively.
Preferred Skills:
* Experience in warehouse/logistics environments.
* Familiarity with LMS and training software.
* Strong organizational skills.
* Adaptability in training methods.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Work Environment:
* Warehouse and classroom settings.
* Travel between sites required.
* Flexible hours may be necessary.
