We’re looking for a talented and proactive Communications Business Partner to join our client’s communications team on a permanent basis.
In this pivotal role, you’ll act as the strategic link between key business directorates and the communications function — helping to shape, deliver, and embed effective communication strategies that align with business priorities and strengthen the organisation’s reputation.
You’ll combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, providing expert advice, creating high-quality content, and ensuring clear, consistent, and engaging communications across all channels.
Key responsibilities
Partner with senior leaders to understand business objectives and translate them into impactful communication plans and campaigns.
Lead the planning and delivery of internal and external communications, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
Provide expert communications advice and guidance to colleagues across the business.
Produce high-quality written content for various channels including intranet, newsletters, reports, and digital platforms.
Support the delivery of accessible and inclusive communications that reflect diverse needs and encourage engagement.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of communication activities, using insights to drive continuous improvement.
Champion brand integrity and consistency across all communication materials.
Collaborate with colleagues to deliver team-wide initiatives such as events, launches, and campaigns.Essential Criteria
Experienced communications professional with a broad background in internal, external, or customer communications.
Strong influencing and relationship-building skills, able to work effectively with senior leaders.
Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills with strong attention to detail.
Confident planning and managing multiple projects and deadlines.
Analytical mindset with the ability to measure and evaluate communications impact.
Knowledge of brand management, stakeholder engagement, and best practice communication techniques.
Ideally holds a professional qualification in communications, marketing, or public relations.
