Allied Health Professions – Therapy Assistant Practitioner
Exciting opportunity for a Therapy Assistant Practitioner (TAP) to join the Hospital at Home Team in NHS Forth Valley. This multidisciplinary team provides short‑term targeted interventions across the Forth Valley for acutely unwell frail adults living in the community.
Responsibilities
* Provide support to allied health professionals, including physiotherapists and occupational therapists, under their guidance.
* Prioritise fluctuating workloads and work within a busy, community environment.
* Attend home or homely environments, travelling throughout the area of service delivery in a timely manner.
* Participate in a full induction and orientation programme and ongoing professional development.
* Work over 7 days per week as required by the role.
* Service delivery is Forth Valley wide.
Requirements
* Member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme (or willing to apply). More information on this scheme can be found at www.disclosurescotland.co.uk.
* Willingness and ability to travel throughout the Forth Valley.
* Ability to prioritise workloads and work in a rapidly changing community setting.
* Valid registration as required by NHS Forth Valley (if applicable).
