We are delighted to offer a 12-month fixed term contract or secondment opportunity for a committed Occupational Therapist who would like to grow their skills to join our friendly Children's OT Service as a Band 6 Specialist OT.

You will have the chance to build your clinical confidence, develop new skills, and contribute to service improvements whilst working in a team that values collaboration, creativity, and person‑centred care.
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Specialist Occupational Therapist to join our Children's Occupational Therapy Service, supporting children and young people with physical disabilities (0‑19 years) – the role will be based in the East Riding of Yorkshire and the successful applicant will also cover the Humber geographical area of the service dependent on service need.
This is a key role focused on delivering high‑quality, specialist care while also providing clinical supervision and specialist Occupational Therapy advice across multiple settings – including homes, clinics, and schools.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver specialist clinical care to children and young people with complex physical needs.
* Contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of high standards of care and service delivery across the wider service.
* Support and mentor junior staff and students, providing clinical supervision and promoting best practice.
* Contribute to service development, quality improvement, and innovation.
* Collaborate with colleagues, families, and partner agencies to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to care.
* Demonstrate and maintain up-to-date Occupational Therapy knowledge and skills.
