Key Account Sales Manager
to manage and grow relationships with high-value clients for our trade show events and sponsorship offerings across multiple shows. This role is ideal for a sales professional accustomed to working with large-scale clients and closing substantial deals. You will play a crucial role in driving revenue and ensuring client satisfaction, managing a portfolio of key accounts while achieving ambitious sales targets, including a £1m annual revenue goal. Key Responsibilities: Achieve the sales targets Build and nurture strong relationships with high-value clients, ensuring their expectations are exceeded and long-term partnerships are established. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts and through strategic prospecting. Lead negotiations, closing substantial deals for event participation, sponsorships, and other offerings. Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing and operations, to align client objectives with event deliverables. Monitor market trends and competitors to identify opportunities for innovation and growth. Provide accurate sales forecasts and regular performance updates to senior management. Represent the brand at industry events and networking opportunities to enhance client relationships and explore new business avenues. Visiting clients for face to face meetings About You: Proven track record of success in B2B sales, ideally within events, media, or sponsorship sales. Demonstrated ability to manage and grow key accounts, delivering consistent revenue growth and client satisfaction. Strong commercial acumen and expertise in closing high-value deals. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the confidence to engage and influence senior decision-makers. Results-driven, with a relentless focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets. Experience managing complex client relationships, balancing high expectations with practical deliverables. Organized and strategic, capable of managing multiple accounts and priorities effectively. Familiarity with CRM systems and pipeline management tools to track and optimize performance. Preferred Qualifications: Background in trade show, exhibition, or sponsorship sales. Established network within relevant industries. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
