HGV Class 2 Drivers – Lancaster Area
£16.00 per hour (£16.50 after 8 hours)
Driver Hire Lancaster are seeking reliable HGV Class 2 Drivers for temporary/ad-hoc positions in the Lancaster area. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced drivers to join a well-established logistics provider offering day shifts only—no nights or night outs required!
Key Responsibilities:
1. Palletline multidrop deliveries
2. Deliveries to a range of businesses within the local area
3. Ensure accurate and timely delivery of goods
4. Adhering to health & safety regulations
5. Completing relevant paperwork and vehicle checks
What we need from you:
6. At least 9 months of Class 2 driving experience
7. A valid HGV Class 2 driving licence
8. No more than 6 penalty points on your licence
9. No major endorsements (e.g., DD, DR, or IN endorsements)
10. Ability to work independently and efficiently
11. Good customer service skills, as you’ll be interacting with clients during deliveries
12. A professional and responsible attitude
