Managing Director at Mansell Recruitment Group
A leading manufacturing company based in Crawley, West Sussex, is seeking a Production Planner / Buyer to join our operations team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional from a manufacturing background to take on a vital role within a fast-paced and growing business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor and manage the MRP system to ensure a smooth and continuous flow of materials
* Raise and manage purchase orders with existing suppliers for production parts
* Maintain accurate inventory levels to meet production demands
* Liaise closely with production teams to ensure the correct parts are available for the production schedule
* Identify and resolve supply chain and scheduling issues to minimise production disruption
* Work cross-functionally with internal teams, including procurement, stores, and production
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a similar Production Planner / Buyer role within a manufacturing environment
* Strong working knowledge of MRP systems
* Solid experience in raising and managing purchase orders
* A Level qualified or qualified by experience
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Proactive, collaborative, and able to manage multiple priorities
Salary & Benefits:
* £40,000 - £48,000 per annum, depending on experience
* Office-based role, Monday to Friday
* Located in Crawley, West Sussex – easily accessible from surrounding areas
