Our client are looking for an experienced Sales Director to take the lead in driving commercial success within a fast-growing car finance business. This is a pivotal role for someone with proven leadership in sales strategy, team management, and building lasting partnerships. You'll be at the forefront of shaping sales performance, steering business development, and ensuring ambitious targets are consistently achieved.
-Salary £80-£90,000 basis depending on experience.
-Commission bonus, uncapped OTE.

* Demonstrable experience in scaling a sales team from ~20 to 100+, ideally transforming a small or early-stage operation into a structured, high performing SME sales function.
* Strong track record of building teams through clear structure, process, and accountability while maintaining agility.

3. Hands-On Leadership Style
* Not a glass-office leader — must lead from the front.
* Willing to be on the floor, sleeves rolled up, and actively involved in day-to-day sales operations.
* Comfortable with longer hours when needed, running morning huddles, training sessions, and supporting agents in real time.
4. Manager Development & Team Progression
* Skilled at upskilling existing managers, coaching them to achieve next-level performance.
* Confident in making tough decisions — "level up or move out" mindset when necessary to protect culture and performance.
5. Process Design & Sales Optimisation
* Strong background in designing and implementing sales processes that drive consistent results.
* Focused on lead conversion, sales funnel efficiency, data-led decision making, and agent accountability.
* Familiar with CRM optimisation, call structure, and performance dashboards.
6. Commercial Confidence
* Must instil confidence at CEO level that a £2m annual marketing spend is being fully maximised.
* Ability to translate marketing investment into measurable sales outcomes and clear ROI.
7. Strategic Experience with B2B Models
* Ideally has experience in B2B subscription or recurring revenue models, supporting new income streams alongside B2C sales.
* Can help build and scale a dealer subscription or SaaS-style revenue stream.
8. Value-Add Product Development
* Understands how to integrate value-add products (e.g. warranties, insurance, add-ons) into the sales process to increase profit per deal and customer retention.
* Able to identify and commercialise new cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
