Role Overview
As a volunteer interviewer or workshop lead, you will support young people by conducting mock interviews or running recruitment workshops. Interview questions will be provided as a guide, but you may adapt them to suit the individual participants. Your participation will help students experience real-world recruitment challenges and develop the essential skills sought by employers.
Responsibilities
* Lead mock interview sessions or recruitment workshops for students.
* Use supplied interview questions as guidelines, while customizing to the needs of each participant.
* Provide constructive feedback and encouragement throughout the sessions.
* Help students gain confidence and an understanding of workplace expectations.
Qualifications
* Professional background or experience in employment-related fields.
* Strong communication and coaching skills.
* Ability to adapt content to diverse audiences.
Commitment
Volunteers are expected to attend the scheduled session(s). A short Teams call will be offered before the day to walk you through the format and answer any questions.
