About the Role:
Argenta is currently looking to fill the role of Development Scientist onsite at our Dundee location. The Development Scientist is accountable for managing the formulation and technical transfer activities at the Argenta Dundee site. In this role, the Development Scientist will collaborate cross-functionally with other departments including QA, QC, engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless transition from lab to production.
Key Accountabilities:
* Lead product development projects all the way to product registration or other suitable client-driven product-cycle end points
* Lead projects on behalf of clients and/or Argenta Research (internal company projects)
* Generate, document and review technical data for internal reports, client reports and CMC regulatory support documents
o Communicate and negotiate project activities and timelines
o Lead continuous process improvement at Argenta Dundee by working across site functions and with clients
o Lead technical transfer projects internally and externally to Dundee
o Ensure continuous monitoring of commercial product lifecycle and manage product changes
o Support best practice and execute product remediation/resolution of technical issues
o Provide leadership, direction and support across the Dundee site functions and Argenta globally to deliver against internal and client milestones
o Comply with all company local and global policies including Quality frameworks and health, safety and environment (HSE) policies.

Qualifications:
o B. S. or higher degree in a relevant scientific discipline (Pharmacy / Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Biological Sciences)
Knowledge/Experience:
Functional/Technical Skills
* Minimum 3 years experience in animal health Industry or related field, with experience in pharmaceutical analytical/formulation development
* Experience in a GMP / GLP compliant environment
* Knowledge of the pharmaceutical regulatory approval processes
* Experienced in Microsoft Office tools
* Good verbal and written communication skills
