Here at GXO, we are looking for an experienced Inventory Manager to join our Greene King contract based in Tilbury, RM18. Our site is a brewery distribution delivering to Greene Kings customers, the job purpose for this role is to manage all aspects of stock within the site, responsible for counts, loss, gains, returnable assets to the customer and third parties, accurate keeping of stock profile within the site is essential.
This is a full time, permanent role, working Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:00, we do ask for some flexibility as this is a 24/6 operation (No Saturday operation)

What youll do on a typical day:
Day-to-day management of the inventory function, taking responsibility for all aspects of staff performance, including accuracy and process compliance
Support the maintenance of stock accuracy and integrity in line with contractual requirements, minimising stock loss through investigation and resolution of errors
Regular briefing to operations to support the flow of information and feedback for all business and customer updates and initiatives
Use trend analysis to identify issues and areas of potential loss, ensuring all corrective actions are applied in line with CI principles
Chair and attend departmental, contractual and site meetings as required
Develop strong relationships with internal and external customers to better understand key business drivers and devise tactical improvement plans to support continued growth / success
Responsible for the leadership and development for a team of Administrators
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Experience in similar role and fast paced environment along with WMS systems knowledge
Advanced Excel Skills including data analysis, pivot tables, XLOOKUP, and formula creation
Build relationships with customers, suppliers & other internal departments
People focus, empathy, engagement and development
Excellent organisation skills with the ability to prioritise work and consider and validate facts before making decisions
