Key Responsibilities * Support the Registered Manager with the daily running of the home and staff team. * Recruit, train, and supervise staff to deliver outstanding care. * Develop and review care plans, risk assessments, and behaviour management strategies. * Manage budgets, petty cash, and administrative tasks. * Promote safeguarding and ensure compliance with all policies and procedures. * Build strong relationships with young people, families, schools, and professionals. * Act as Deputy in the Manager’s absence and participate in the on-call rota. About You * Minimum 2 years’ experience in children’s residential care. * Qualified to or working towards Level 3 or Level 5 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent). * Strong leadership and team management skills. * Knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding responsibilities. * Compassionate, resilient, and committed to achieving positive outcomes for young people. * Flexible to work shifts, including sleep-ins and weekends.
