Nursery Lead Location: Edgbaston, Birmingham B16 Pay: £145 - 200 per day (dependent on experience) Working Hours/Days: 8:00 - 16:00, Monday to Friday (Term Time Only) Start Date: 01/09/2026 Contract: Long-Term temporary, Temp to Perm Are you a passionate and nurturing Nursery Teacher with EYTS or a Level 6 Early Years qualification? Do you have recent experience teaching within a nursery or Early Years setting? We are working with a welcoming primary school in Edgbaston that is seeking a dedicated Nursery Teacher to join their Early Years team from September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape the learning journey of young children within a well-resourced and supportive environment. The school is committed to delivering high-quality Early Years provision and values practitioners who can inspire curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning through play-based experiences. Your Role: - Lead a nursery class, delivering high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment in line with the EYFS framework. - Create engaging, child-centred learning experiences that support children's development across all areas of learning. - Monitor progress through observations and assessments, using this information to plan meaningful next steps. - Build positive relationships with children, parents, support staff, and senior leaders to ensure the best outcomes for every child. - Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment where children feel supported to thrive. - Contribute positively to the wider Early Years team and school community.
