Overview
Join NPL as a Stakeholder Engagement Manager to manage relationships with public and private sector stakeholders within our National Timing Centre Programme (NTC), a major research and development programme led by NPL that is responsible for developing the UK’s first nationally distributed timing infrastructure.
What you’ll be doing
* Develop and deliver a proactive and impactful stakeholder engagement programme across the public, private, and R&D ecosystem.
* Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within NPL and externally.
* Drive benefits realisation within NTC.
* Work closely with NPL’s central stakeholder and policy engagement teams, and the management and delivery teams within the NTC.
About You / Qualifications
* Experience in managing engagement projects and programmes across government and the public and private sectors, including the science, innovation and technology ecosystem.
* Excellent communication skills, able to understand and analyse complex stakeholder landscapes and brief senior colleagues on developments.
* Experience in developing and managing relationships with key stakeholders and supporting colleagues in their relationships with senior officials in Government and the public sector.
* People Management skills – able to manage a small team, and also work across teams to deliver programmes or work in public sector engagement.
Security Clearance
To work at NPL, you will need to obtain BPSS security clearance. For this role, you must have an SC clearance with no restrictions, or have the ability to obtain one with no restrictions.
