Applicants with experience as Care Team Leaders or Senior Support Workers holding an NVQ / QCF in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) are preferred. However, dedicated Care Assistants or Carers with a solid track record and ambition to progress are also encouraged to apply. As a Team Leader, you will lead and motivate a team of support workers, ensuring the delivery of excellent person-centred care and support to enable individuals to live fulfilling and independent lives.
Your responsibilities include recruiting, supervising, and developing support staff through interviews, staff supervisions, and providing guidance. You should possess excellent communication skills to effectively interact with staff, individuals supported, and external professionals. Good written communication and IT skills for record keeping are also essential.
Our Supported Living services in East Lancashire support adults with learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, acquired brain injuries, or mental health conditions, providing life-changing support.
