This is the job Are you passionate about cyber security and ready to take the next step in your IT career? We’re looking for a motivated and curious Cyber Security Analyst to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone early within their IT career and eager to take the first step into cyber security. You’ll play a key role in protecting our digital infrastructure, responding to security incidents, and helping us build a strong security culture across the organisation. The successful individual will also complete a specialist apprenticeship within cyber as part of their employment. What will I be doing? Operate and support cyber security tools and services (e.g., Microsoft Security, SIEM, EDR, PAM, DNS Security). Monitor and respond to security alerts and incidents. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to identify and mitigate risks. Assist in developing and maintaining security procedures and reports. Contribute to automation and continuous improvement initiatives. Support transformation projects and help embed security best practices What do I need? Working experience withinan IT support, infrastructure, or operations role. A strong interest in cyber security and a desire to grow in the field. Willingness to complete a Level 7 Cyber Security Apprenticeship. Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft 365, Active Directory, or basic scripting is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
