About The Role:
A large and in-demand, design-led engineering company is seeking a Business Development Associate to join their team in Bristol. In this outward facing role, you will play a key part in supporting work-winning initiatives across the southern area of the UK, identifying new business opportunities, and collaborating closely with wider teams such as marketing and bids to enhance their business development efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
* Act as the main contact for BD activities in the South UK market
* Build and maintain strong client and collaborator relationships
* Provide market intelligence and data analysis to support business development strategies
* Coordinate BD and marketing initiatives
* Produce content for statements and presentations by working closely with senior team members
* Share insights and intelligence across the business to inform strategy and decision-making
* Represent the studio at networking events, conferences, and industry gatherings
Key Skills/Requirements
* Proven experience in business development within the built environment
* Strong contacts and understanding of the UK market; architectural connections desirable
* Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
* Confident, proactive, and adaptable, with strong influencing skills
* Highly organised with a methodical approach and attention to detail
* Comfortable networking and representing the business externally
* Having worked in or collaborated with UK Main Contractors highly desirable
* Team player with the ability to work autonomously when needed
