We are recruiting Customs Data Entry/Administration Clerks for our worldwide logistics customer in Solihill, Birmingham.
This is a temp – perm opportunity working with one of the worlds largest organizations.
This is a HYBRID role involving 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home.
Successful candidate must have data entry experience and be willing to undertake online pre-testing in Data Entry and Attention to Detail.
This is on-going agency work with the potential of becoming permanent in the future.
Rate of Pay:
£25, pa, paid hourly £ ( hrs)
Hours of work:
Fixed 8 hour shift between /p>
Days of work:
Monday to Friday
Duties:
1. Checking and Filing customs paperwork for EU & UK.
2. Data Entry and Data Transfer
3. Creating and requesting relevant customs clearance documentation.
4. Managing numerous mailboxes between Carriers and Vendors.
5. Ensuring all shipments have the correct and necessary documents to be able to cross.
6. Dealing with any discrepancies and misalignments that might arise
7. Office based
Required:
8. A stable and consistent work history
9. Data Entry Experience (Essential)
10. Office working experience
11. Strong communication skills (written and spoken)
12. High standard of attention to detail
13. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook
14. Clear criminal record
15. You may be required to take a Drug and Alcohol Test
16. Transport industry experience is preferred but not essential
