Description and Requirements
Lenovo is looking for a highly dynamic individual with a strong technical background combined with customer retention and negotiation skills. We are seeking enthusiastic, career-minded professionals to join our Cloud Service Provider (CSP) Sales organization as a Cloud Service Provider (CSP) Sales Engineer.
The CSP Sales Engineer will be reporting to the EMEA CSP Director and ideally will need to be a self-starter, goal-oriented and possess proven customer facing experience. This individual will be responsible for driving revenue, profit, and customer satisfaction within Lenovo’s largest Cloud customers. The successful candidate will configure / price / quote sales solutions, engage in Request for Proposal’s (RFP’s), and create overall business development strategies.
The CSP Sales Engineer will be accountable for managing and maintaining account relationships through various levels of engagement and seniority within the customers’ business. You must be able to develop and execute strategies within your accounts to achieve exponential growth of Lenovo's CSP business. The successful individual will work alongside the CSP Field Sellers and drive all aspects of selling the product portfolio; working with technical subject matter experts to qualify opportunities; propose solutions and demonstrate the overall value of Lenovo products.
What You'll Do:
1. Collaborate with Account Executives to drive sales, profit, and customer satisfaction
2. Build / Price configurations and provide quotations to the customer
3. Partner with various internal functions such as operations, procurement, and supply chain
4. Provide strategic high level and in-depth detail review of project financials
5. Resolve challenging account relationship situations from some of the most demanding customers
6. Engage and support customer proof of concept and evaluations
7. Act as focal point in the resolution of customers escalations by engaging extended support teams
8. Evangelize Lenovo’s ISG portfolio and influence technology strategy of key customers
9. Understand the technical requirements and translate them into Lenovo OEM & ODM+ solutions
10. Commercial awareness of the local competitive market, customer objectives and the customer industry environment
What we're Looking For:
11. 5+ years of sales experience required (as an Account Manager, Server Sales Specialist, Sales Engineer)
12. 5+ years of server product sales experience and ODM space in the strategic selling of future and current technologies
13. Strong communication skills across multiple organization functions and ability to work independently
14. Entrepreneur attitude with a strong team player mentality, integrity, willingness to provide feedback in challenging situations
15. Proven successful experience with building functional reporting & dashboards working with Salesforce/Dynamics 365, Excel & Power Point
