Job purpose:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Assistant to support our finance team in managing day-to-day financial operations. This role will involve processing transactions and ensuring accuracy in financial records. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for numbers.
Key responsibilities:
1. Process invoices, expenses, and payments accurately and in a timely manner.
2. Help with VAT returns and other tax-related filings.
3. Reconcile bank statements and financial transactions.
4. Support payroll processing and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
5. Assist in monitoring accounts receivable and payable.
6. Support the finance team in audits and compliance-related activities.
7. Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
The ideal individual will have:
8. Strong knowledge of financial principles, bookkeeping, and accounting procedures.
9. Good communication skills, both written and verbal
10. Experience with accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, SAP) is desirable.
11. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools.
12. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
13. The ability to demonstrate flexibility when required
