EHC Plan Writer - Remote We are seeking an experienced Education, Health and Care (EHC) Plan Writer to support a local authority on a remote basis. This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in drafting, amending, and reviewing EHCPs, with no casework duties involved. Key Details Working Hours: Monday-Friday 9am-17:00 (37 hours a week) Pay Rate: approx. £17.89 per hour Location: Fully Remote Role: EHC Plan Writer No caseworker duties required Contract: Temporary Responsibilities Write high‑quality, legally compliant Education, Health and Care Plans. Undertake amendments, updates, and annual review changes. Collate and interpret reports from education, health, and social care professionals. Ensure all EHCPs meet statutory requirements and reflect the needs and aspirations of the child or young person. Work effectively within EHCP timelines and processes. Experience Required Proven experience writing EHCPs, including amendments and annual reviews. Strong knowledge of SEND legislation and statutory EHCP processes. IDOX experience is preferable.
