Electrician - Live Wire Testing
Location: Birmingham, B30 1JR
Vacancies: 3
Contract: 6 Months +, Mon to Fri 8.30 - 17.30, with potential for further work

The company offers dedicated engineering services for the food and beverage, automotive, and aerospace industries, tailoring solutions for many of the world's largest manufacturers. This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrician to support live wire testing in commercial and industrial buildings throughout the Midlands and occasionally elsewhere in the UK.
Responsibilities
* Work on a variety of sites across Birmingham and the Midlands, testing live electrical supplies into commercial and industrial buildings.
* Assist electrical technicians by compiling condition reports and testing live electrical feeds into buildings.
Full training will be provided, though experience in similar electrical works is advantageous. Candidates must be fully qualified to NVQ level 3 including AM2 or equivalent.
Candidate Requirements
* Ideally based in Birmingham or within a commutable distance of B30 1JR.
* Willingness to work away occasionally, with travel costs covered by the company.
* Experience in commercial electrical installations and a strong electrical core engineering background.
* Minimum NVQ level 3 including AM2 or JIB Graded electrician.
* Testing and inspection 2391 or equivalent (advantageous but not essential).
* Full UK driving license.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary in line with JIB rates: £16.84 PAYE / £18.70 PAYE or £22.14 CIS / £24.58 CIS per hour, including travel time, hotel costs for away work, mileage allowance, and other benefits.
