Activities Co‑ordinator (Full‑time)
Please note: This role is full time 40hrs per week.
As an Activities Co‑ordinator at HC‑One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes. Responsibilities
Plan and implement activities that delight residents. Organise essential fundraising events with the Home Manager. Provide residents with confidence to socialise more effectively, develop new activity ideas based on residents' hobbies, and involve the care home team, all with kindness above all else.
Qualifications & Experience
Background working with vulnerable individuals and ideally developing activity programmes. Excellent planning, organisational and IT skills, able to manage time effectively. Natural ability to get along with people and communicate with residents or co‑workers in a truly considerate and kind manner.
Safeguarding and Training
Recognise signs of possible abuse, harm or neglect and know what to do. Attend safeguarding training appropriate to your role and undertake additional training in associated areas. Seek appropriate advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken.
