An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head of Stock Control to join a well-established, market-leading business operating within a fast-paced, product-driven environment.
This is a key leadership role within the supply chain function, responsible for driving effective inventory management, improving availability, and optimising stock investment across a multi-site operation.
Key responsibilities
* Leading and developing a stock planning team
* Delivering effective inventory and stock control strategies
* Using data and forecasting to support decision-making
* Driving improvements in supplier performance and stock flow
* Reducing slow-moving and obsolete stock
* Improving processes, reporting, and ways of working
* Building strong relationships across internal and external stakeholders
About you
* Proven background in stock control, inventory planning, or supply chain
* Experience leading teams within a fast-paced environment
* Strong analytical capability (Excel and/or similar tools)
* Commercially minded, with a focus on balancing cost and service
* Confident communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders
* Continuous improvement mindset
