Harper Adams University is looking to recruit a part-time Café Assistant to deliver excellent customer service to students, conference guests, and University staff.
Responsibilities:
1. Serve customers in a polite and friendly manner.
2. Ensure a high-quality, customer-focused provision of hot and cold food and beverages.
3. Set up the café offering in accordance with department standards.
4. Maintain facilities to a high standard, including compliance with hygiene regulations.
5. Handle cash and cashless payments following company procedures.
6. Assist in promoting and displaying merchandise on counter displays.
7. Adhere to all health and safety, legal, and security regulations.
8. Perform any reasonable requests from your supervisor.
9. Stand in for the supervisor during periods of absence.
10. Support with special events such as Graduation, Open Days, and Royal Visits.
