Job Description
We are looking for a Steelwork Technical Coordinator to join our team in Bristol on a new project. The key responsibilities of this role includes:
1. Coordinating steelwork platform designs to ensure design is mature
2. Liaising with the building layout and piping teams to coordinate the design
3. Smooting the path for timely engineering delivery
4. Managing Open Points to mitigation and resolution
5. Maintaining QA procedures in delivering the SW design
6. Managing engineering changes in line with company procedures
7. Resolving identified technical issues
8. Receive, analyse and verify the consistency of the input data
9. Manage schedule impacts resulting from changes
Qualifications
Essential:
10. Design of seismically classified steel platforms and structures from concept to detailed design delivery
11. Use of 3D modelling and structural analysis tools
12. Knowledge / Understanding of PWRs would be an advantage
13. Knowledge and understanding of relevant Health and Safety regulations
14. Experience in the nuclear sector and plant layout engineering would be advantageous
15. Knowledge/understanding of the Eurocodes related to civil engineering and especially knowledge of the design of fastenings and anchorages in concrete
16. Knowledge of the design of reinforced concrete and pre-stressed concrete structures
17. Knows how to deal with the design and layout constraints
