This role is ideal for a mechanically focused engineer with experience inmechanical building services designwhos ready to take the next step in their career.
Youll be contributing to the design and delivery of sustainable, energy-efficient systems for a variety of projects across sectors such as commercial, residential, education, and mixed-use developments.
Key Responsibilities: Mechanical design and specification of building services systems including HVAC, ventilation, and public health.
Preparation of technical reports, drawings, and detailed design documentation.
Perform calculations using industry-standard software (e.g., Hevacomp, IES, Revit, AutoCAD).
Work collaboratively with other engineers, architects, and clients throughout the design process.
Support senior engineers in delivering projects from concept to completion.
Ensure all work complies with current building regulations, CIBSE guidelines, and sustainability targets.
Requirements: Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
At least 2 years experience within a UK-based Building Services consultancy.
Strong working knowledge of mechanical systems and relevant design software.
Familiarity with UK building codes and regulations.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Keen interest in sustainability and low-carbon design.
