Our client, a market-leading Structured Cabling business based in Sandhurst, Berkshire, is seeking experienced Data Cabling Engineers to join their team. This exciting opportunity comes as a result of their continued success and growth.
Are you the right person for the job?
Hold a valid driving licence and live within a commutable distance of Sandhurst, GU47
Have experience with Cat5e, Cat6, and Cat6a structured cabling installations
Be confident with cable pulling, containment, terminating, patching, and related cabling works
Ideally have CSCS/ECS, IPAF and/or SSSTS (preferred but not essential)
Be flexible to work in occupied spaces, building sites, and occasional overnight stays
Bonus: experience in AV installation
What will your role look like?
As a Senior Data Cabling Engineer, you'll be leading and delivering structured cabling projects across the UK and Europe. Your role will involve:
Installing Cat5e, Cat6, and Cat6a structured IT cabling to the highest standards
Fibre optic cable installation
Working on both commercial sites and occupied environments
Supervising installations, ensuring neat and compliant work
Supporting project delivery with occasional travel and overnight stays
Contributing to a high standard of workmanship and maintaining safe working practices
