Offer description

Overview

Are you looking to develop your dietetic skills working with adults with a range of conditions in the community setting? This post is based within the Community Nutrition and Dietetic team in Scunthorpe and is the ideal place to continue to develop your dietetic career.

You will be an experienced specialist autonomous practitioner who acts within your professional boundaries, carrying a defined caseload of patients and offering specialist dietary advice. This includes performing complex nutritional assessments and the development, implementation and evaluation of dietetic care. You will act as an expert professional and provide advice and knowledge on appropriate nutritional interventions for symptom control and disease management. You will receive ongoing informal and structured support from your Clinical Lead, including support to become a Preceptor. There will be a high degree of autonomy in your clinical practice and day-to-day organisation of your work within a friendly and supportive team of dietetic colleagues. You will be encouraged to participate in service developments and will have access to training and support from the Trust\'s Quality Improvement team. There will also be opportunities to train other health care professionals and, as your own clinical skills develop, you will be involved in student training with support to develop clinical supervisory skills.
