Business Development Manager / Technical Sales Executive – Hazardous Waste
Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 + Bonus & £5400 Car Allowance
Location: Southwest England (covering areas west of Southampton, Bristol, south of these regions, and along the M4 to Reading)
Are you experienced in hazardous waste or industrial services and ready to drive business growth? We’re looking for a dynamic professional to bring in new contracts and projects to support our depot operations.
Your Role:
As a Business Development Manager / Technical Sales Executive, you’ll focus on securing profitable hazardous waste management contracts and high-value one-off jobs in the Southwest. This includes tankered services, drummed and palletised waste, and collaborating with our technical team to ensure smooth processing through our facilities.
1. Proactively generate leads through cold calling and follow up on enquiries.
2. Build and manage a robust sales pipeline.
3. Deliver engaging presentations, offer expert consultation, and pitch tailored solutions to clients.
Who You Are:
You bring proven experience in a new business development role within the hazardous waste industry.
You hold a valid UK driving licence (essential).
Bonus points if you have chemistry-based qualifications!
