About the Opportunity
Our client, a leading specialist in high-quality bespoke joinery solutions, is seeking a detail-driven and commercially minded Sales & Project Specialist to join their growing division.
This is an exciting opportunity for candidates from joinery, interiors, ironmongery, or fire & security backgrounds who have a strong understanding of fire regulations and compliance.
You'll manage projects end-to-end, acting as the key link between clients, suppliers, and production teams, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a first-class client experience.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationships & Sales
1. Act as the main point of contact for client enquiries
2. Prepare detailed briefs and provide expert guidance on compliant solutions
3. Produce, follow up, and convert quotations into confirmed orders
4. Identify and develop new business opportunities
Technical Specification & Compliance
5. Validate designs, dimensions, and specifications
6. Ensure full compliance with fire regulations and standards
7. Confirm finishing details, ironmongery, and certification requirements
Supplier & Quotation Management
8. Obtain, compare, and assess supplier quotations
9. Ensure pricing is competitive while maintaining strong margins
10. Factor in tooling, logistics, and specialist compliance requirements
Production & Project Coordination
11. Act as the bridge between client and production teams
12. Ensure drawings and specifications align with compliance standards
13. Collaborate with Production and Quality teams to track progress
Quality & Regulatory Standards
14. Maintain high standards of quality control throughout projects
15. Ensure all products and installations meet current fire safety legislation and industry regulations
What We're Looking For
16. Minimum 3 years' experience in one of the following:
17. Joinery / interiors
18. Ironmongery
19. Fire & security / fire protection systems
20. Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, or site surveys
21. Commercial awareness with experience managing costs, margins, or project budgets
22. Strong communication and coordination skills
