The Details: Location : UK Wide Hours : 40 per week - We aim to support work life balance and keep your weekends free whenever possible, though occasional weekend work may be required to meet customer needs. Salary : Competitive, based on experience What You’ll Be Doing You’ll play a hands-on role at the heart of our operations, ensuring turbines across the UK deliver peak performance. Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to: Performing routine maintenance and repairs to maximise turbine reliability and minimise downtime Inspecting critical components — blades, nacelles, towers — to spot damage or wear before it becomes a problem Troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults using schematics and diagnostic tools Carrying out root cause analysis to prevent future failures Working with a skilled team of technicians to deliver scheduled maintenance and respond to reactive work Supporting installation and commissioning of new turbines Keeping accurate documentation of all maintenance work, parts used and turbine condition What you’ll bring You’ll thrive in this role if you have: Strong mechanical knowledge and confidence working with complex machinery At least 2 years of hands-on wind turbine technician experience Experience with Vestas, Siemens or Nordex turbines (essential) Mechanical or electrical system repair experience Knowledge of electrical engineering and the ability to read electrical schematics Familiarity with logic controllers in turbine operations Proven root cause analysis capability Strong problem-solving skills and composure in fast-paced, high-pressure environments Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset Experience as an Authorised Technician under the Wind Turbine Safety Rules It Would Be a Bonus If You Have Experience as an Authorised Engineer under the WTSR Full GWO certification, Working at Heights, and a valid medical Why Join Cirrus?
