Title: Procurement Manager
Location: Brighton, East Sussex
Term: Permanent
SRG are working with a well‑respected, global company that specialises in the creation of speciality chemicals for several different markets. They are looking for a Procurement Manager to lead a small purchasing team and improve procurement strategies. This is an exciting opportunity to own and lead various procurement optimisation projects within the business!

Responsibilities
* Leading an internal purchasing team
* Providing training, development, and performance reviews of the team
* Understanding current purchasing and stock‑management processes
* Identifying areas for improvement to increase efficiencies
* Using the internal ERP system to its full potential
* Managing the full procurement process for a range of speciality chemicals
* Negotiating contracts with suppliers
* Creating and maintaining relationships with key supplier stakeholders
* Liaising with multiple business departments, including Logistics and Sales
Requirements
* Proven recent experience as a Buyer in a raw‑material chemical manufacturer
* Able to work on site near Brighton five days a week
* A proactive approach and drive to deliver exceptional service
* Willingness and enthusiasm to implement positive change and process improvements
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
