RMS is excited to partner with a prestigious name in the automotive industry, and we’re on the lookout for a Allocator to join our admin team!
1. Based in Corby
2. Working Hours: Monday to Friday 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm
3. Permanent Contract (37.5hours per week)
4. £14.45per hour
About the Role:
Working under the supervision and Co-ordination of the Compound Manager, you will be required to liaise with external carriers to plan the efficient arrival and despatch of vehicles from site.
5. To liaise with carriers to co-ordinate the scheduled date and time of vehicles from site
6. To communicate with the Inbound / Outbound Compound team members to ensure the correct vehicles are available for despatch in line with client timeframes
7. Ensure systems are updated in real time
8. Ensure all appropriate documentation in relation to arrivals and despatches are completed in full and safely stored for ease of retrieval
9. Produce stats on a daily / weekly / monthly basis to the Inbound / Outbound Compound Manager.
10. To ensure health & safety procedures are followed at all times.
11. Undertake other duties as directed commensurate with the level of the job function.
About you:
12. Previous experience in a Traffic Allocation role.
13. Must be PC Literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages
14. Must have excellent Numeracy and literacy skills
15. Must be a strong communication skills
16. Must be a team player
17. Must be Flexible to support in all areas and complete any tasks required
18. Must be comfortable working outside in all weather conditions
19. Must be confident resolving driver queries.
20. Must have attention to Detail
