Attwoods Chartered Certified Accountants in Pershore, Worcestershire are looking for a confident and dynamic apprentice to offer the opportunity to train as a Finance / Accounts Assistant, with a chance to progress their career in Accounting.
Wage
£14,918.80 for your first year, then could increase depending on your age

Attwoods may choose to pay above the minimum apprenticeship wage depending on knowledge and experience on application and completion of a successful trial.
Training course Accounts or finance assistant (level 2)
Hours Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:00, with one hour for lunch.

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
* Examine and reconcile data to identify and correct errors
* Communicate with a range of stakeholders using the correct methods and technical terms where appropriate
* Use relevant Office and accounting software packages to input and manage date accurately
* Organise / manage their workload
* Work closely as a team to offer support and help to peers when needed
* Work towards the full range of knowledge, skills and behaviours within the Level 2 Accounts / Finance Assistant Apprenticeship Standard

Training
Apprenticeships include time away from working for specialist training. You’ll study to gain professional knowledge and skills.
* Use the organisation’s standard tools and processes to examine data to identify transactional issues such as, reconciliations and inconsistencies between invoices.
* Recognise and rectify routine errors, escalating as necessary.
* Plan and review accounting and finance tasks.
* Communicate with stakeholders to deliver accurate and timely results, avoiding jargon, using language tailored to the audience and different media methods with an appreciation of the risks and benefits to the business of social media and other digital applications.
* Use finance and accounting software packages to accurately input and manage data to contribute to routine accounting tasks.
* Handle data and digital technology in line with cyber and data security requirements, using data securely and safely, including backing up data.
* Record transactional data.
* Use the organisation’s standard tools and processes to examine data to identify transactional issues such as, reconciliations and inconsistencies between invoices.

Mandatory weekly day release to HoW College, Worcester campus along with work based training and support from a Learning Skills Devleopment Officer (LSDO).

GCSE in:

The office is in Pershore so please make sure you can get there independently for work each day and to college in Worcester for day release before applying.
