At the heart of our Payroll Services department, in this strategic role our Payroll Services Manager Leads the payroll function, ensuring accurate and timely compensation for employees while maintaining compliance with tax laws and internal policies. This role combines strategic oversight, team leadership, and technical expertise to deliver a reliable and efficient payroll service.

What you’ll do day to day
* Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for salaried and hourly employees.
* Supervise and mentor payroll staff, fostering professional development.
* Liaise with auditors and regulatory bodies.
* Manage payroll software and system upgrades and lead automation and digitisation initiatives.
* Identify and implement process improvements.
* Resolve complex payroll queries and support employee relations.
* Support strategic planning and reward policy alignment.
* Lead on payroll transformation and change management projects
Helpful skills and qualifications

* In-depth knowledge of payroll legislation
* Experience with multi-site or high-volume payroll
* CIPP qualification or equivalent
* Strong leadership and mentoring skills
* Analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Familiarity with pension schemes and benefits
* Experience in payroll audits or reconciliations
