Business Resilience and Environmental Manager Contract Type Permanent Working Pattern Full time Working Hours 35 hours per week Salary £42,569.17 Per Annum Location Options Birmingham Function Type Corporate Functions (HR, Finance, Project Management, IT, Risk and Audit) About the Role We're looking for a proactive and experienced Business Resilience and Environmental Manager to lead the development, implementation, and management of our business continuity and environmental management functions. This is a critical role ensuring organizational resilience and compliance with ISO standards, while driving sustainability initiatives across the SRA. What You'll Do Develop and embed effective business continuity processes and recovery plans. Conduct risk and business impact analysis across all areas. Collaborate with IT on disaster recovery arrangements and testing. Oversee resilience in the supply chain and manage supplier assurance. Lead annual testing, exercises, and staff rehearsals for continuity plans. Horizon scan for emerging threats and adapt plans accordingly. Manage the Environmental Management System (EMS) in line with ISO 14001:2015. Liaise with internal and external auditors and maintain compliance documentation. Report on EMS KPIs and carbon emissions to senior management. What We're Looking For Essential: Knowledge of business continuity and project management methodologies (willing to train in BCI certification). Experience in ICT disaster recovery and risk management. Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills. Analytical and report writing expertise. Understanding of ISO22301 and ISO14001 standards. Calm under pressure and adaptable problem solver. Desirable: Experience in a regulatory environment.
