Registered Manager – Domiciliary Care Service Location: Accrington, Lancashire Salary: From £55,000 - £62,500 per annum (dependent on experience and qualifications) Job Type: Full-time, Permanent About the Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and driven Registered Manager to lead a well-established domiciliary care service based in Accrington, Lancashire. The service has strong partnerships with local authorities and is in a period of growth — expanding its geographical coverage and care offering. We’re looking for a dynamic, forward-thinking leader who can inspire teams, uphold exceptional care standards, and strategically develop the service to its next stage of success. What You’ll Do Oversee all operational aspects of the service, ensuring compliance with CQC and local authority standards. Manage, motivate, and develop a dedicated team including a deputy manager, coordinators, supervisors, and recruiters. Drive business growth through new care packages and service expansion. Ensure the highest standards of quality, safety, and person-centred care. Complete regular audits, manage KPIs, and provide reports to senior leadership. Liaise with external stakeholders, commissioners, and partner organisations. Support recruitment, staff development, and retention strategies. (Please note: On-call duties are not part of the standard role but may be required in emergencies.) About You Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Registered Manager in domiciliary/home care. Proven track record managing a service delivering 2,000 care hours per week. NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management (or equivalent) – essential. In-depth understanding of CQC regulations and care sector compliance. Strong organisational, time management, and communication skills. Confident leader with a proactive “can-do” approach. Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle. Experience in complex care or a Registered Nurse qualification (desirable). What’s on Offer Competitive salary – £55,000 - £62,500 Per Annum.
