Sistema Scotland has an opportunity for an Evaluation & Monitoring Officer to join their organisation, working within the Central Team.
Supported by the Head of Operations & IT, you will be the primary evaluation specialist within Sistema Scotland ensuring a robust, ongoing evaluation and monitoring programme is in place to support the organisation to deliver the best quality outcomes for our communities. You will support the dissemination of knowledge and new evidenced practice within the organisation; monitor performance to meet the needs of key stakeholders; and be the key link with external independent evaluation organisations.
With a track record of applied health, social, education or arts research using mixed methods, you will be trained in quantitative and qualitative research methods and data handling and analysis (including using secondary datasets). You will be proficient in data presentation and report production, using a range of presentation styles and graphic design processes. This post will also require you to have relevant experience in designing and conducting interviews and focus groups for data collection. The ability to communicate confidently (both verbal and written) and to be able to mix appropriately with a wide range of people, including young people, whilst maintaining a high degree of confidentiality and discretion will be essential. We are looking for someone with an understanding of the benefits of early intervention and social interventions. You will be able to work independently and manage a portfolio of work effectively, therefore you will require excellent organisational skills and the ability to anaylse problems and prioritise actions.
This is a permanent post, working 28 hours a week (pattern of work to be agreed with line manager). The role forms part of the central team, working on a hybrid working between home and an office base in one of our Big Noise centres, with travel throughout Scotland to all our Big Noise centres.
Salary for this post is between £34,923 to £38,953 per annum (pro rata).
