Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated General Assistant to join our team in Plymouth, United Kingdom. As a General Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and delivering exceptional customer service across various departments.
* Provide friendly and professional service to guests, addressing their needs and requests efficiently
* Serve food and beverages in a courteous manner, ensuring a positive dining experience
* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all work areas, including kitchen and dining spaces
* Collaborate with colleagues to create an inclusive and safe working environment
* Assist in various operational tasks as required, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn
* Comply with health and safety regulations, as well as specific food service guidelines
* Support team members during busy periods, showcasing strong teamwork skills
* Handle customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally
* Contribute to the overall organisation and efficiency of daily operations
Qualifications
* Genuine passion for customer service and/or food industry
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
* Adaptable and solution-oriented approach to challenges and opportunities
* Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation
* Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new systems quickly
* Excellent multitasking and prioritisation skills
* Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices (desirable)
* Previous experience in a similar role, particularly in the food service industry (preferred)
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings, as required
