About The Post
We have a unique opportunity in Fleet Services, based within the busy depot services team at Smithies Lane Depot – your chance to be part of council services delivered within the community.
We are looking for a professional driver training and compliance officer with a proven track record of delivering a managed program of training, assessment and compliance across a diverse and challenging fleet operation while maintaining the highest possible standards of quality.
Key responsibilities include:
* Develop and implement a training and compliance programme for drivers.
* Provide accurate and detailed reporting to help inform decisions and set priorities.
* Maintain strict deadlines and uphold high standards of health and safety.
* Offer guidance to peers and new recruits and promote council values.
* Support continuous professional development and contribute to best “£ for £” local authority training.
