Conveyancing Assistant – Leeds
A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to join a well-established and highly respected regional law firm at its Central Leeds office. About the Role:
Working closely with a Senior Fee Earner, you’ll provide hands-on support across a wide range of residential conveyancing transactions. This role is perfect for someone with at least 6 months of experience in a similar conveyancing support position who is ready to take on more responsibility and build a long-term future in property law.
Key Requirements:
* Minimum of 6 months’ experience in a conveyancing assistant or legal support role
* Familiarity with residential property transactions, including sales and purchases
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Please note: applications without relevant conveyancing experience will not be considered
Key Responsibilities:
* Opening new client files and managing data entry within the case management system
* Drafting routine legal documentation and preparing client correspondence
* Assisting in issuing contracts and handling replies to enquiries
* Ordering property searches and supporting the exchange process
* Preparing for completion, including sending out mortgage reports and finalising documentation
* Keeping case files and records up to date in line with internal procedures
