Pewsey Vale School is looking for a motivated and organised Admin Assistant to join our school Business team. Supporting with the administrative, financial and organisational processes within our school, you will enjoy working as part of a team and be adaptable and flexible in your outlook, along with excellent IT skills and a keen eye for attention to detail. Working Hours: Part Time (18 hours per week, four days per week – three days per week may be considered - 39 weeks per year, includes teacher Training Days). We are looking for someone who: Has experience of administration, ideally in a secondary school setting but not essential; Has a good working knowledge of ICT systems (including Microsoft, Outlook and Word); Has studied to a minimum standard GCSE or equivalent level, including at least a Grade 4 (previously Grade C) in English and Maths; Is self-motivated, consistent and can maintain confidentiality; Has strong interpersonal and communication skills and is able to work with a variety of pupils, staff, parents and outside agencies; Has superb attention to detail and organisational skills; Has the ability to deal with new challenging situations; Is able to work under pressure and to meet deadlines; Is a strong team player who can use their own initiative; Has a positive and flexible attitude.
