Salary: £40,000 - 45,000 per year Requirements: We are looking for candidates with 3-5 years of experience in a similar SLA-driven support role. You should have a proven ability to deliver projects and manage complex changes. Strong knowledge of Cisco Switch/Router environments is essential. Experience with technologies such as Fortinet, Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Cisco, Cisco Meraki, HP Aruba, F5, Azure, and AWS is highly desirable. Familiarity with Netscaler/F5 Load Balancers and HP Switching is preferred. Advanced knowledge of Cisco, including Wireless, SD-WAN, DNAC, ISE, and ACI, is required. Candidates must have valid Security Clearance (SC) or the ability to obtain it. Additionally, a solid understanding of ITIL best practices is expected. Responsibilities: In this role, you will investigate and resolve technical issues escalated from 1st Line support. You will be performing diagnostics, log monitoring, and rule base auditing. Managing device software upgrades, patches, and bug fixes will be part of your responsibilities. You will also handle configuration backup/restore and network configuration changes. Collaboration with 3rd Line teams is crucial, as well as escalating issues to vendors when necessary. You will be expected to complete scheduled tasks and provide detailed handovers between shifts. Supporting the Service Desk and assisting with the onboarding of new customers will also be part of your responsibilities.
